Blurred Borders is a collaborative Commonwealth-funded multi-agency project being led by Legal Aid WA, focusing on the East Kimberley WA and western Northern Territory cross-border region.

Campaign Edge Sprout were responsible for the illustrative icon style, and rollout of three separate sets of cards to help explain key legal concepts around bail, criminal process and family violence. These cards aim to improve communication when language is a barrier by using simple icon style illustration, in conjunction with a plain language explanation on the back. The cards are designed to work together to spell out key legal matters, whilst explaining consequences and outcomes.

The Blurred Borders resources help people to:

· better understand legal concepts
· communicate more effectively about the law
· make informed legal choices, and
· actively participate in legal processes.
